2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee Starting problems

Asked by ptownsav Jan 20, 2014 at 07:47 PM about the 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee and I replaced the starter about 6 months ago but now it's having the same problems it did before which is a rough start with a rough idle following, sometimes not starting on the first 2 or three times. I have a bad oil leak that might be the problem? or Ive heard it could be a bad Crankshaft sensor and/or a bad Camshaft sensor?

I have a question about my Check Gauge (oil pressure). I had it replace twice and the oil pressure is running perfectly but he check gauge still keeps coming on. I was told it could be the miles on my Jeep 195,000 miles so they stated to put Motor Honey for high mileage vehicle after every old change but the light still comes on. I dont know what to do.
