Question type: Maintenance & Repair

2008 ford f150, Drivers door latch is in locked position and won't allow the
door to close. I've attempted to push the latch downward without success. I've
used the electric door locking switch. It works on all doors but failed to unlock
the drivers side. I've use the key and no luck. Any ideas?

You can try a little WD 40 to see if it will loosen it up. Do you know how the opened door got stuck in the locked position? If all else fails, you'll have to remove the locking mechanism from the door. Inside panel will have to be removed. Not a difficult job, unless you have big hands like I do.
