can i use a 2001 4r75e on a 2008 f150

have a 2008 f150 4R75E and a 2001 4R75E to replace in it. Will this swap
okay?

No. It may not work at all or won't work correctly and your CEL would be on all the time.

I know this is an old post... but You should have a W.. for some reason, there is a big confusion between these.. 2004 - 2008 (and early prod 09) F150/E150/E250 4.6/5.4 = 4R70W/75W... 2009 - 2014 F150/E150/E250 4.6/5.4= 4R70E/75E the 4R70W 98-03 also have different electronics and differences in gear trains within these years.. minute but will affect the trans
