I messed up. I bought a set of 16" wheels with Nitto Grabbers on them for my 08 Silverado 4x4. Once i got them home i found the obvious. 16s dont fit 08. Is there a converter or spacer that will allow the wheel to clear the brake caliper?

No there isnt. Most people dont want to convert to smaller brakes they go the other way. you need 17"wheels or bigger.
