Yes it can be repaired so have the problem diagnosed before spending thousands of dollars for a new engine. How many miles on the engine?

I have 150000 miles on the truck. Mostly highway, I do drive alot but i have done the regular oil changes etc. I took care of my truck

If you elect to install a new engine remember that the rest of the truck has 150,000 miles on it.
