Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My car was making a clicking noise when I started
driving then it went away all of a sudden, I go to
turn into the parking lot my steering wheel locks
up and it was so hard to turn almost impossible.
then my brake & battery light came on the dash
board. What do you think the cause

Brake and battery light means there is an issue in the charging system. Usually it’s because the alternator is bad. If your steering went out as well then it’s likely the belt is bad or the belt tensioner is bad and the power steering pump is not spinning enough to work the steering.

No I didn’t. It literally just happened out of nowhere

Yes it was the serpentine belt it broke& had to be replaced
