2008 civic AC intermittent blowing warm air

Asked by Jkm34 May 06, 2016 at 07:23 PM about the 2008 Honda Civic LX

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Same issue as others. AC intermittently
blowing warm air on hot days. My AC
compressor seems to be engaged when
issue is present though. Does that mean
it's a thermostat vs an AC issue?  My wife
seems to have the issue more often as she
will move the temp nob vs vs me who sets
on coldest temp and adjusts fan speed to
ask for comfort.

It's a simple fix. I had the exact same issue with my Honda 2010 Civic. It's the faulty A/c Power Relay Assembly. Autozone have it (or NAPA in Canada) and Cost under $10 bucks for the relay plug and just under 5 minutes of your time to replace it.
