I have a landrover freelander and it is not starting, they are saying its lost the memory how is it possible

I would begin with the usual suspects. Fuel pump, check spark, fuses, etc... Is this an automatic? If so, turn your key to the on position, while holding key (like trying to start it) grab your shift lever with the other hand and move it up and down like from park to drive quite a few times. If car suddenly begins to start, that means that your safety neutral switch on your transmission has gone bad. I think those guys are trying to rake you over the coals........
The car does not crack, is the one you put the key in and press the button to start.
Got it. Well, I have been researching other problems and the usual problems are the neutral safety switch and fuel pump which are the most common. Other than that most people take them to the dealer because there is just so much electrical in that vehicle. Did not come across anyone who had "no memory" issues.

I have change the fuel Pump see attached but the problems still persists
I have a like problem with my Freelander. At times after driving it will fail to start, but will start after the engine cools off. I have changed the crank sensor. Problem still persists.
This helped with a 98 Discovery and may work for you. Pull both battery cables off battery. Lay one on top of the other and forget about it till morning. In morning clean battery studs and cable ends, re-attach to battery and try to start. What it does is zeroes out the error codes so the car believes it is starting fresh. Most OBD2 scanners will also do the same. At a minimum you need to get the exact error codes and look them up online. If they point at low fuel pressure inline or at cylinders the pump may need replacing. In the Disco it was an 80usd AC/Delco pump and about 15usd for new in tank hoses on pump assy. There was also the option of paying about 650usd for an OEM rovah fuel pump assembly. There are 2 parts inside and be real careful on putting wires in places they won't get pinched/cut as that will kill fuel gauge and could short. Having that occur directly above fuel tank could get REALLY exciting. (Car fires generally are exciting)
