Camry 09 won’t accelerate

Asked by GuruWB1CM Apr 30, 2018 at 07:20 PM about the 2009 Toyota Camry XLE V6

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My car runs great out one day I went out for drive but the
car won’t accelerate. It goes to the rpm. I checked the
coda and I got 2. P0123 Throttle/ pedal position switch A
circuit high. and P2135 Throttle/ pedal position sensor
switch A/B voltage correlation. I changed the pedal and
the throttle body and still have the same problem. I went
to Toyota and they said we need a 4 hours labor to find
the problem. It will cost 400$ just for labor. I need help
ASAP. THANK YOU

Your description seems to indicate you have a wiring problem between the TB and the gas pedal position sensor.....and or the engine computer. We would proceed with the diagnosis with a Scan Tool and a Digital Volt Meter....thus....the high cost of diagnosis. Absent these special tools....try this. With the engine running and in Park or Neutral....have some one step lightly on the gas pedal and someone else wiggle the wiring harness at the TB...and...then at the GP. See if there is a response with engine RPM. Grt back with results.

Change your TBPS (Throttle body Position sensor) and see if it fixes your car too
