Question type: Maintenance & Repair

i have GMC acadia 2008 with 200,000 Kilometers on it,the problem is with
rpm while driving at normal speed 80 or 100 KM/hr .suddenly the rpms drop
from 2000 to 1500 with jerks.and then i push the accelerator again, rpm goes
up to 2500 and drops again.i have changed the spark plugs, transmission oil.
( no error codes showings up though) i had a leak in air intake hose which i
sealed with silicon , with the engine running,i disconnect the MAF but the car
doesnt shut off. could be throttle body? accelerator pedal assembly ? MAF
sensor ? RPMs stay (500) fine at idle. please help

Dear F_O_R , so the update is, i am civil engineer and i have a car mechanic on my construction site.so i told him today and he recommended to open the throttle body and clean it up. so we both removed it and he accidentally removed the cover of Throttle position sensor and sprayed WD-40 inside and then fixed back the throttle body.and we started the car and it went crazy with all the error codes and reduced engine power ( lol ) .means we screwed the whole throttle body. so somehow i managed to arrange another throttle body (From scrap market, coz new is super costly ) and we fixed it and now this baby is flying like a new one :) :D no more jerks or Rpms dropping. thank you
