My acadia shuts down completely when I have my air conditioning on. Is this a battery issue or a recall issue?

Could be battery or a short in the wiring go get an electrical system check done and that will tell u if it's an electronic issue

if there is no possibility that th ac is locked up, then I would suspect the idle air control valve.
