Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My AC compressor is bad and my warranty

taking any freon so can't get readings, then it took
it and it said 120  and 450 is this bad? Now the car
keeps running hot

Does your warranty company approve of you doing the work? If so that is NOT the usual way in which it is done. 450 is way too high. I would suggest taking it to a certified auto a/c facility.

No my warranty company doesn't. I'm not a mechanic, this is my friends shop and so asking because the adjuster came out and said the compressor was bad and now they're asking for reads. I was trying to see if these numbers where good with a bad compressor.
