2009 Hyundai Sonata Trunk will not open

My 2009 Hyundai Sonata that I just purchased (from a private seller) has a
trunk that will not open. I can't seem to find a key access in the back and the
only way I know to open it is via the emergency latch inside of the trunk. Any
advice? I'm wondering if if could be the mechanical switch that needs to be
replaced inside of the car. Any advice?
