Hyundai Sonata 2017 keys locked in trunk
Asked by Tiff4713 Jun 07, 2019 at 12:09 AM about the 2017 Hyundai Sonata Eco FWD
Question type: Maintenance & Repair
I locked my keys in the trunk and i got a locksmith
to come open the doors, which tripped the alarm
and made the truck inaccessible. I cant lower the
back seats because the release levers are in the
trunk. Has anyone figured out how to get into the
trunk from the inside of the car?

Same thing happened to us. if you look on youtube there is a video that will help you out, you have to take door partially apart, but it works. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AWt9Ylevecg

Dealer will cut you a dumb key to open the trunk. Trunk has key lock
