Keys locked in 2015 Hyundai Sonata

Question type: General
My keys accidentally got locked in the trunk
of my 2015 Hyundai sonata. My husband
got a locksmith to unlock the car but was
unaware that the trunk release button
wouldn't still allow the trunk to open from
the inside of the cae. The back seat seem to
not let down from the inside. Is there
another way to get in the trunk bc I'm low in
funds?

Is it cheaper (getting a trunk key) than getting a whole key made?
Easy way is to press the unlock button on the driver's door. Then the trunk release will work
Hi, i have a spare key for my hyundai sonata but it doesnt open my door it jus can start the car. IS there a solution?
Just curious, this happened to me today. Did the dealership charge you for opening the trunk? Were getting the car towed there tomorrow and low on funds as well.

We got a locksmith to open it up & he charged $60- 75 that was cheaper, a dealership is going to be higher I think.
Get proof of ownership of the vehicle. Go to the dealership with the vin number. They can make you a key to get in the door or trunk for around $30.00.
