Is there a way to keep your 2015 Sonata trunk locked and protected when using valet parking?

Question type: General
The car I just traded in on my 2015 Sunday sonata had a valet key which would only
open the door and start the car. I could use my electronic key to lock the trunk and then
the valet key would not unlock it nor would the inside pull tab open the trunk. That way
luggage etc. were safe and secure in my trunk. I have not seen any information on how
to accomplish keeping my truck contents locked and secure in the 2015 Hyundai Sonata
when valet parking.

Here's what you do for valet parking. 1) Open your trunk. On the trunk latch itself flip the lever to the "locked" position. Your trunk can now be opened ONLY with the physical key. 2) Use the physical key to lock your glovebox. It can now be opened only with the physical key. 3) Separate the physical key from the fob. Keep the physical key and the rest of your keys with you, hand the fob over to the valet. They will now only be able to start your car and lock/unlock your doors. The physical key (and the rest of your keychain) stays with you. Note: Just in case you didn't know, there is a keyhole for the physical key on your trunk. Look under the lip just to the left of the handle/button you use to open it, just above the license plate.
Thank you SO MUCH! My salesman didn't know how and you answered in such easy to understand detail. I really appreciate it.

I wish the 2017 was like that - stupid thing requires the key to start the engine and there's no way to keep your stuff safe in your glove box or the trunk!!
