Have a 2009 Journey, for some reason tires are OEM equipment, size is 225/55/19, anyone know if 235/55/19 would be too wide, or affect speedo or transmission shifting

Tires on this Journey are 225/55/19, they are OEM equipment apparently, can't find anywhere but at dealer and I think they are overpriced. Can find 235/55/19 size at other places, would this size be too wide or affect speedo or transmission shifting. Snow already builds up in the wheelwells, maybe the slightly wider tire would make this problem worse. Anyone have any ideas, or been there, done that????

There is a TSB out from Chrysler with an alternative tire size for the 19" wheels on the Journeys, although I can't remember exactly what the size is... What kind of price were you hoping to pay for 19" tires?

I have a 2013 Dodge Journey. I have been told that a brake service ($120) will reduce wear and tear. That doesn't make sense to me.
