I put my car up for sale and someone responded from the Federal Bural of Investigation to see if my car was still for sale. Is this a fake responce

I agree with jwhalen, 99.9% likely a phishing attempt, do not under any circumstances give them any information.

I can tell you for certian that the FBI does not use gmail, any correspondence with them would be .gov for domain
