Check the inside of your front wheel wells for any evidence of a tire scraping the inner fender. You say the noise occurs when you turn right so look closely at the front edge of the left tire or reasr edge of the right tire. Also, see if the tires are the right size for your car.
The gm dealerships should've sent I u a paper saying it's one of thier recalls they did me along with three others. Unfortunately they want u too pay for that problem first and they will emburse u, the other three problems if u Google it give them your info u will get a postcard in the mail them take it to your local gm dealer and that's fine for free on spot. I've had same problems
Get smaller front tires... fixed that issue on my gxp
It's a wheel bearing. On either side, when you turn the wheel away from the side that has the bad bearing , the car will lean to the side that has the issue and transmit the sound through the chassis making it easier to hear. But then when you turn the wheel toward the side that has the bad bearing the car will lean or put less weight on that side making the noise less noticable. Eventually it will get louder and need replacement. It's a common issue on a lot of vehicles and a simple fix if your savvy with tools. If not? It can cost a little but not a major fix if you find the right mechanic.
