What is causing my cranking issues?

My 09 pontiac G6 GT has starting issues at times.
Usually after any time the car has ran longer than
30 minutes, the car will not crank for sometime as
if it needs to cool down. It eventually led to the
starter needing to be replaced. We replaced the
starter and added the emissions fuse that was
missing, but still have the same problem. Any
ideas?
