Does anyone own a 2009 or 2010 Saturn Vue XR?

The major problem is that they are extinct cars- why buy one? they don't make them anymore and the parts will dry up- if they haven't already-
They are much more cost effective as a result of them being discontinued. They have GM and Honda parts and will be available for years to come.

They don't have Honda parts, in 2008 they went to using Opel and GM parts. Overall the car is alright, obviously the tranny goes out due to the bad part but that is warrantied to 10 year/120k mileage whichever comes first regardless of owner. Yet I would buy a Jap. vehicle if I was to recommend something to you. Better resale etc. Yet if you can get a Vue XR at a steal go for it.
Thank you! I have found one that's a steal, but still leaning towards Honda CR-V. The one I found is loaded with 44k! Appears to be taken care of, but I won't be able to test drive until the 23rd. I'll comment after I test drive and have mechanic check if it is still available.
I Have a 2008 Saturn Vue. It has the 2.4 Chevy engine with 4 speed trans. They also had optional V6s from GM and HONDA. When GM got rid of Saturn, they started making the Vue in Mexico, and sending it to America as the CHEVROLET CAPTIVA. It was brought in as Rental Car Vehicles, but after 2 years they enter the Used Car Market. I see them everywhere in my town. They are exactly like the 08-10 Vue. All the parts are available from GM and after market. Don't be afraid to buy a good used one.
I have a 2010 Saturn Vue XR with leather interior sunroof etc.. it has 76,236 actual miles on it.. I picked it up for $5,400 in Texas and not one spot of rust.. no major repairs except for the front struts.. and that's it it is still running like a dream
