Losing power and shaking while driving

Asked by Anthony Mar 08, 2016 at 10:21 PM about the 2009 Chevrolet HHR LS FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My 2009 at times will lose power and start to
stall/shake.  The dash board will have the service
esc, eng pwr reduce, and service traction lights
come on.  Has anyone experienced this?

the ABS system wants to slow your car down by applying various brakes from time to time depending on conditions~ wants to "anti-lock" ya~ there are "curtains" the sensor looks through...they can get clobbered up and then abs don't work no more~ so inspect these "curtains" inside each wheel~ that may cure our troubles~

My Wife's 09 HHR Lt has the same thing going on...Did you get it fixed and If so Please what did you need to fix it? Thank you
