Check your coolant? All so,it is normal when under a load such as towing, but if it continues to do this, have your coolant system and fan relays.

If your coolant levels are find you have a ECT (Engine coolant temperature sensor) that might have a bad wire or shorting.

The car sometime runs after cut off. Today the cooling mood light came on no hills no towing. Could it need fluids or could it be worst. Not over heating. Or not yet

Have a compression check on your motor. To see if you have a head gasket issue. Then replace the radiator cap and thermostat. Run the right coolant. Orange. Make sure your oil is full and coolant level is good.
