The fan blower runs for a short while after the car is turned off so the heater core / AC coil don't remain moist and get all moldy/funky. That is why it is running - as to why it is clicking that is not normal. Perhaps something fell into a vent or the blower motor or the 'bird cage,' or the blower motor is starting to go bad. You can usually access the fan blower motor through the glove box opening.
