After my car is turned off my cooling fan continues to run what can it be

If it runs for a minute or two, no problem. Normal But do you mean keeps running and won't shut it's self off?

My '09 Malibu is doing the same but I'm concerned if it's doing this thru a Texas winter it's screwed come summer. Why would it have latent heat when it's 45 degrees outside?

It wont shut it self off the only way it shuts off is when I unplug the batterie
