Both tail lights quit working. Everything else works fine, including the bulbs. The tail lights just will not turn on. 2009 Silverado 1500

Bulbs are good, reverse lights work, brake lights work.  Tail lights just will not turn on,
whether I have it set to auto or I turn the switch to the on position.

check the fuses in the underhood fuse box
