Refer to the owner's manual or dealer service center for manufacturer's recommendations. But, if you want my personal opinion, its all the same. That 8 dollar quart of royal purple 5w- 30 isn't any better than the 2 dollar mobil 5w-30. As long as it meets the manufacturer's requirements, I just get whatever is on sale.

I agree, as long as its a Brand Name, you cant go wrong. Buy it when it's on offer, whether you need it or not. (you will need it sometime)
