2005 Escape 1 31K miles. Just had a front end aligned. When I break I get knocking near tire. Any ideas what this might be?

When I break I get knocking near tire. Any ideas what this might be?

bad axle-wheel bearing,or something is loose.

I'm thinking it shouldn't be a wheel bearing as I only have 31k miles on the Escape...and the noise occurs when I'm stopping...and not at other times, but somethin's going on there. Thanks.

Thanks Pap. I took it in. I had warn pads and roter replaced with manufacturer specific parts, not the generic type last installed. Sounds clean now!!
