Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a Ford escape 2005. To get it started I have to spray the throttle body with
carburator cleaner. It idels very rough and as I give it throttle it shuts off. What's the
problem? I changed the spark plugs and fuel filter to no avail. It won't take the gas and rev.
