Audi A5 - Question before Aquisition

You're not mentioning which engine you are looking at. The 2.0T is an excellent one and so is the TDI version. Generally all are good but the bigger motors tend to be a little more thirsty than average.
In this case im looking at the original 3.2 engine; there are long empty stretches of road to cover :) At this stage sans city driving and insurance can any benefit be had by the 2.0L engine sans perhaps a bit of petrol savings?
if you want to modify (ie big turbo) you can make a lot more power with the 2.0T than the 3.2. but if you just want a nice quick car right out of the box then i'd say go for the 3.2. or get an S5...
