Check engine soon light after oil change. No problems before that.

Engine light goes on after changing oil. Had no
problems before. After driving the car for. Afew
minutes. It started doing some unsual noises when
accelerating. Almost came to a stand still. Turned
off the car and then waited a bit. Turned it on  but
car still acting funny. What is happening?? Didnt
have this problem going in?

who did the oil change, kwiki mart ? check the oil level , scan for codes and let us know
