Why does my car have such bad gas mileage

I have a 2009 altima 3.5SE and it says that with a
full tank i should get 600km but im barely touching
400km what could the issue be.

(I just bought the car and the average was at
18L/100km but after filling up gaz i reset it and now
its around 10L/100km and as im driving my range is
going up but will it last me 600km?)

What do the plugs look like ? A drop in milage and performance may be a head gasket going bad . It could also be bad information , what they say it gets may be different from reality . Figure out your actual milage and go from there .
