Oil

Asked by Bobbie Mar 31, 2019 at 01:31 PM about the 2005 Ford Escape XLT AWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Hi, I just recently purchased a 2005
Ford Escape XLT 4 wheel drive and I
have an oil leak. The lady I bought it
from said that she had just had an oil
change before I bought it which was
the end of February beginning of
March and I've already lost 3 quarts
of oil was wondering if anybody had
ideas as to where this leak might be
they obviously had the top of the
engine steam cleaned and it was
meticulously clean nothing was on
the engine didn't think to look under
the engine. But I'm pretty sure it's
covered with oil of some sort.
Anybody have any ideas or
suggestions?
