2009 charger won't start
Asked by Chancy08 Aug 30, 2014 at 07:02 PM about the 2009 Dodge Charger SE RWD
Question type: Maintenance & Repair
My 2009 dodge charger won't start.
When I turn the key fob a little red
light blinks in the dashboard, but
that's it. Nothing else comes on. I
read on another thread to pull the #3
fuse do I did and I started the car. I
went to go get new fuses and the car
wouldn't start. I finally got it started
and got it home and tried to start it
again. I got it again but that's it. Now
my windows are stuck down
because I can't get the car going.
Can someone help please?

I had to replace to WIN module.
Yeahh that's anti-thief that means you need a new key
What alarm are you all talking about disconnecting in order for the car to work? because I had went to the dealer and had them replace the win module and its still not working. Was going to try to get a new key and they were going to charge me 300 and charged me 500 for the win module. and then after they couldn't fix it after they replace the win module because they said there was short somewhere, they recommended to trade my 2009 charger in or to fix my car for 3,000 dollars, so I am just wondering what alarm I need to disconnect in order to try to troubleshoot my starting problems?
Please report this issue with the WIN module, it is a safety issue. https://www-odi.nhtsa.dot.gov/VehicleComplaint/
