4 Wheel Drive Jerking

Asked by nayeem_hameed09 Jan 08, 2017 at 02:39 AM about the 2009 Dodge Durango SLT 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Hi There... Few days back i faced jerking while taking turn from my Parking
lot. I always drive on 4 Wheel Drive mode. After few meters of driving it
went fine and the suddenly 4 W low light popped up...it was blinking for a
mnt or so and then went off... same time when i was driving i felt that my
car vehicle was not accelerating as it use to and it was really moving slow. i
stopped the vehicle in the closest Paring place and then tried shifting to
N/R/ then Drive it went well.. since then i have not driven it and need
suggestions what should be done. Cheers

A 4 wheel drive vehicle that is not AWD or automatic 4 wheel drive should not be driven on hard dry surfaces while in 4 wheel drive mode. Taking a look at the owner's manual might be helpful. Download one if you don't have one.
