Should i concider a high milage oil for my 2009 silverado? It has 86,000 miles

You could, but I'd just keep using the same stuff that got you to 86,000 miles and change it at the proper mileage and time. I run my vehicles 7,500 miles or 1 year, whichever comes first. If you do lots of city driving change it at 5,000 miles or 1 year.

Personally I believe high mileage oil is largely a marketing gimmick used to take up shelf space at the auto parts store. I use regular grade oil in my truck which has 188,000 miles on it with no issues at all. It won't matter either way.
