High rpms engine light blinks

I need advise I have a 2009 gmc seirra 4.3 liter and I've
noticed when I'm in tow mode and my rpms get to 4000
range my engine light blinks but eventually goes out. Not
sure if it's a cylinder misfire, needs a tune up, or I'm just
pushing my truck to much.

Have the trouble codes read to see if there are any pending codes. If your engine has not had a tuneup recently it would not hurt to install new plugs and filters.
