2009 Jeep Liberty

Asked by stk111473 Aug 31, 2016 at 01:37 PM about the 2009 Jeep Liberty Sport 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

All four doors and liftgate lock when the lock button is pressed, but only
driver's door unlocks when the unlock button is pressed.  Nothing audible
from passenger doors or liftgate when unlock button pressed.  Doesn't matter
if using fob or buttons on door.

Had same trouble with our jeep. Saw on utube how to reset locks. Sounds crazy but it fixed our problem. Put the key in the lock on the hatch. Turn the key left, right, left. Then remove. Worth. A try.
