2009 Jeep Liberty

Asked by heatherharper1980 Dec 18, 2017 at 09:53 AM about the 2009 Jeep Liberty Limited 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My windshield washer fluid doesn't work at all for
the front. Doesn't even make a sound or even give
the slightest dribble of fluid when I try to use it.
However, the one for the rear works just fine. Is it
from the same pump? Or is there a fuse that I need
to replace? I'm trying to avoid having to take it in to
a shop for repair. And I really need it to work seeing
as winter is here and there's salt all over the roads
now.

According to auto parts store listings, there is one pump that supplies washer fluid to both front & rear for the 2009 Jeep Liberty. Sounds like you may have a clogged hose or nozzle for the front washers. If you can trace the hose back to the pump, disconnect it at the pump, set the windshield washer control to front and let the pump run a few seconds to see if anything comes out.
