Power Steering failure

I have a 2009 Honda civic sedan, standard. I'm really happy with it -great
car -except: On three occasions the power steering has failed. First it failed
after parking it. Remained hard to steer for 4 hours. I took it to a garage,
and the mechanic started the car, and the power steering was back. The
next day it failed again for about three hours. Then it came back. I manage
okay because I am strong, but it seems it could be a dangerous problem
for some people. Honda said it would be hard to diagnose because it's
working well. I was surprised to learn that there is no fluid -but some type of
electrical power steering. Any idea what could be causing this intermittent
problem?

u can start by replacing p/s fluid first and then if that doesnt work p/s pump..worst case is actual steering rack..check underneath for leaks..maybe lines
