P0058 AND PO305
I recently bought this Jeep commander and I absolutely
love it shortly after buying it a chickens and light came on.
I did the OBD II sensor reading and got a P 0058, HO2S
Heater Control Circuit High (Bank 2 Sensor 2). Shortly after
my car started to have some engine misfire issue which
caused it to stall the OBD II Reading list time added P0305,
Which is a 5th cylinder misfire.
I went in to fire stone which is the closest repair shop to
the Air Force base I am currently station on, Paid the
diagnosis feet they came back and said I needed a new 02
sensor, I approve the transaction went to get my car in the
check engine light was still on with the same codes.
Firestone told me It was possible that the 02 sensor they
put in was defective so they replaced it again, When I went
back to pick it up it was still having the same issue they
told me I would need to go to the dealer and have my PCM
checked out.
I went to the dealer paid the diagnosis fee they came back
with, The Jeep needed a tune up in that was why there was
miss fire, So I paid for that they also told me that the
P0058 code was the 02 sensor and it needed to be
replaced I advised them that Firestone had alredy done it
twice and firestone said it was the PCM, I was then told
that the pcm was in good working order and it was the 02
sensor said I should go back to Firestone where I had
alredy paid for it and have them replace it under the
warranty.... After replacing the 02 sensor and the tune up
they were doing the problems would be fixed....
The tune up was done then I went back to Firestone
explained the situation they install a new 02 sensor And I
picked up my car same exact problem!
I still get both codes P0058 and P0305 on a regular basis
Every once in a while the code will go off and come back on
a little while later, I have now put all of my extra cash into
this car and not solved the problem can anybody give me
advice on what might be wrong so that I don't continue to
waste money
