Question type: Maintenance & Repair
Does anyone have any clue on what I should do next? I have a 2009 Kia spectra and my
speedometer does not work. I just changed the input and output speed sensor and still
nothing. I don't know what I should do next. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Does the odometer (mileage) work? If it does the speedometer head is bad and you may have to replace the instrument cluster.

Yes the odometer works. Sounds expensive but thank you for your advice. I greatly appreciate it and will start pricing them. Thanks again
Look on ebay for one close to your mileage. They're not too expensive there.
I found several for my 08 Spectra for around $75 on eBay and not sure how much different the dashes in the 09 from the 08 but literally I was sitting in the Drive-Thru waiting on my food and had the dash done besides for unplugging the cluster very very very simple
Please don't respond if you just think , opinions are like aZZZ , so keep those to yourself, and and your speedometer does not work and the odometer does , NO it is not the cluster, the dummy just cost you $$ for nothing. please know the answer or shut up!
