Should we put money into the body work on a 2009 Volkswagon CC sport with

Depends on if you want to continue driving the vehicle and or sell it. Once fixed up, a Private party sale for a very good condition vehicle is around $7 to $9K. so of course you want to invest less than that in body work or try selling as is.

You give us next to no information. Get quotes on the body and paint work and then decide.

Is this accident damage? Or the vehicle needs to be "freshened up"? Maybe a paint job and some rust repair. Dings and scratches fixed. If you're planning on keeping the vehicle for the long haul and it just needs to be freshened up then yes if it won't cost a fortune. But if there's considerable accident damage or a lot of rust than no. I wouldn't bother with a 12 year old vehicle. Hope that helps! Jim

Paintless dent removal can do wonders for a car that has a lot of parking lot dings.
