2009 BMW 328I check engine light.

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I've had two repairs services for my car. Original problem CO2 sensors, now replaced. 2nd time - Cat converter, now my car is back in the shop for another Check engine light. This is the 3rd in a week with the same "check engine light". Any thoughts on what's happening? All repairs have been completed by BMW service center.

Not sure about codes. I didn't ask other then finding solutions to previous two issues. BMW is supposed to call back. And I will get codes. Thanks for inquiring.

I'm going too after my vehicle is picked up today. So BMW service rep contacted me yesterday. New issue was software related. Fuel to oxygen readout was off. My car is being recalibrated.

My car wouldn't start. Had battery charged and still nothing. What does this photo mean?

They are either replacing parts because they know your ignorant as to whats causing it and its easy to sell you an expensive part and shop time, knowing you be back in a couple days. Rinse and repeat. Or, it could be that its something upstream of the parts being replaced thats the problem, not sending off a code yet because kts not quite broken, but it is making the things downstream send off codes. Like hot o2 sensors on a lot of fords wilk send codes before the cat will when its dieing. So the cat needs to be replaced not o2 sensor but the cat codes arent pinging yet, though its not doing its job
