Car insurance for 17 year old
Asked by Graysonh Jan 03, 2017 at 04:55 PM about the 2010 Ford Mustang V6 Coupe RWD
Question type: Shopping & Pricing
I am a 17 year old male and I want a Ford Mustang 2010 v6
for my first car and I don't have my licence yet until 7
months from now. I was wondering how much you guys
would think insurance would be for liability insurance on it.
I want to know if I could afford it. Any help would be great :)

Just start calling insurance company's and ask for a quote from them. They will be more than happy to help you.
Premiums are high until you turn 25, assuming you're in the States. Under 17, performance car, even basic liability is going to be costly.

Get a discount if paying 1 year at a time. Take the drivers ed course at school too.
Ask your agent what the costs are and what discounts you can get. When I was first driving keeping up good grades was valuable.

There are too many variables for anyone on here to give you a quote, but here are some things to do to get your quote as low as possible. Get the highest deductible offered. Also, take Driver’s Ed while you're in high school, and DO NOT even consider dropping out. And keep your grades up. Insurers give big discounts to teens who maintain high GPAs, because they are considered more responsible drivers.
