SYNC
Asked by BonELew May 30, 2018 at 11:17 AM about the 2010 Lincoln MKZ FWD
Question type: Maintenance & Repair
My battery died (Lincoln MXZ 2010) I had it
replaced. Everything is fine BUT my Bluetooth
System, called SYNC, is not working AT ALL.
Could this be a blown fuse?? I called a dealer who
gave me a ballpark figure of $125.00 to work on the
“electrical system “. That’s a lot of money if it’s jist a
fuse.
Thank You

Disconnect the battery for 5 minutes and reconnect. See if that resets the Sync system.
My 2014 MKZ's navigation has never worked for me. I bought it 4 mos ago. I read that sync services have been cancelled for model years 2008-2016. I am still trying to find out how I can get gps in my car, but no luck so far.
Lanette...There is no Sync service charge for GPS. Sync can not just be cancelled as it is part of the system. If you car has GPS it should work, if it doesn't then it won't.
My Battery died and we jumped it. Now it's blowing heat and the touch screen won't let me turn it down or change the climate settings. All other buttons on the touch screen work except for climate, ac, ex.. HELP PLEASE. ITS TO HOT OUTSIDE FOR HEAT TO BE ON. ITS AN LINCOLN MKS 2014
Same thing happened to me after a thunder storm. I had my FCIM front control interface module replaced.
