You should be able to recover most or all of what you paid, if you didn't put thousands of miles on it. Just may take time. If you need to 'unload it' in a hurry drop the asking price, or have patience and it will eventually sell, Corollas are in high demand, especially 2006 to 2010 models, that is the range where the price has significantly dropped from new but still has plenty of value. Toyotas hold re sale value better than most. My 2006 is still worth what I paid for it over a year ago,
