Clutch stuck to floor

I want to engage the clutch and
the pedal stuck to the floor. What
is the problem?

i had to much fluid in the Master cylinder and after about 20 miles the clutch started slip bad so i took some fluid out down to the full mark and now it does not slip would that make it slip like that? Thank you much, Jess
