2010 Chevy Malibu was idle in park and just shut off. The gauges are stuck in the same position as if the car is on. Car will not start. Does not even make a noise when the key is turned.

First off how is the battery and fuses? Second, it could be a Transmission range sensor or ignition switch too. Although further testing is required!
