Missing screw from BMW 2010 528i near oil filter? See photo

If it runs okay and doesn't leak fluid then don't worry about it.
Your missing screw helps secure the metal bracket that keeps the filter from moving around inside the compartment. But the other one is present. As long as the filter isn't banging around, you're fine. Likely had service at some point and tech forgot to attach missing screw. No big deal. Relax and enjoy.
i have the same missing screw and oil is all over my motor. Anyone know what it's called?

I have the same "missing" screw. I see it is also "missing" in these two gasket replacement videos and an oil change video. So I think there was never a screw there. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_IyVCexf37I https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n1lCbtbGI1g https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oMnWEU3BXEk
